Welcoming New Life

Whether for an infant or a child adopted into a new family, the ceremony will mark the moment as sacred and give family and friends an opportunity to offer their own blessings.

B'Mitzvah

For child or adult, the movement from innocence to acknowledgment and acceptance of being a Jew offers an opportunity to honor and guide the transition through study. I will carefully choose material to meet the needs of the individual student, regardless of age.

Funerals

At a time of loss, there is the light of memory. I will give you and your loved ones an opportunity to move through the pain - perhaps with tears, perhaps with laughter - to a celebration of life.

Spiritual Guidance

Ben Bag Bag, a Jewish scholar of the first century, said about Torah: Turn it over and turn it over again for all is therein. Guided by your questions and the mysteries of Torah, we will explore the way that Torah can lead you to a more meaningful life.

Spiritual Legacy Workshops

In groups or individually I will help you create a document for your loved ones that describes your spiritual journey so that you can share with them what has given your life meaning and the values you would like them to carry on.

Torah Talks

Using my English translation of the Book of Genesis, I will introduce participants to cantillation and point out specific places in the Torah where the music brings greater meaning to the text. This Talk leads participants to a deeper appreciation of the sacred sound of Torah.
